They are now gone. Both shops in Melbourne. No idea why. Very sad to see them go.

Beautiful interior, high quality products and excellent service. Recommended to me by a friend, usually I would spend at least $300 for a pair of stylish glasses. However, at CAL, I was offered an extensive selection of high quality, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing glasses and had difficulty choosing just two for $280. The service was excellent and I felt no pressure to purchase anything and the best thing was that the glasses were ready in 30 minutes.

Great! I came here to get some spectacle glasses. They have a very simple and straight-forward pricing system with no hidden charges, and the pricing was very reasonable. The shop was large, clean, and had many styles to choose from. Absolutely no pressure from the sales person to buy, but they were quick to service should you required assistance. The glasses were picked up on the same day I got them. No fuss, no hassle, no misunderstanding = happy customer

The owner, Tet, had to go back to Japan to care for his ageing mother. He intends to come back an re-open at some point. Can't wait until he does - all my glasses are from Cal, and Tet helped me choose most of them. They had such a great range of unusual and funky glasses.
