Great little shop opposite Iga. I was needing a globe for my sewing machine and service was quick and helpful. Lovely lady who served me and we got to chatting for a few minutes about some material I spied instore and decided I really needed it lol they have lots of bits and pieces you may not find everywhere else. Sweing machine lessons too. Parking can be across the rd in iga or the car park in the alley way nearby

I put my Husqvarna in for service in July 2014 and kept calling to see if it was completed. "No, No, No". Finally in September the owner phoned to say a part was needed that would cost $200 including his labour. I decided to go ahead as the machine was worth more than that to me. Kept calling and getting "no,not ready yet". In December, he phoned and said "The company repairing your part want another $150 in freight to ship your machine to Sydney and back". At that point I said "Well, get the part back and I will pick up the machine and pay you for your time". Kept calling every two or three weeks. "No, Not here yet". Finally in May 2015 went and stood in front of the owner and said "Where is my machine?" At which point he shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, I guess I threw it out because it's not here now". I asked what he was going to do about it and he again shrugged his shoulders and said " Well, it wasn't worth anything because it didn't work". Needless to say I WON'T BE TELLING ANY OF MY FRIENDS TO USE THIS STORE !!!!!! (But the lady in the shop is nice !!)

I have had a machine serviced here and have also bought a new sewing machine from here as well. They were very prompt with doing the service on the machine & were very reasonably priced for the work done. they were also very helpful when it came to me buying a new machine & werent pushy in anyway, & were very honest with what they thought would be best for my needs.

I wanted to get my wife a sewing machine for her christmas present last year (dec 2011), I asked around as I wasnt sure where to go. A few people at work recommended that I go to the caloundransewing centre, as this is where they take their machine to get it serviced. I went in here and was very happy, the lady serving was really good,mshe asked my price range, what it would be used for etc and recommended a machine, it was very well recieved and I would go back here again.
