one of the best coffees around that part of the world. i love this brand of coffee which is rich in flavour. this cafe does get super busy and often need to queue . due to being so busy the service is often terrible to be honest and very rushed. i wish they would fix this as it lets down what is potentailly one of the best placess to have coffee.

Approximate cost: $3-5 for coffee

Really great coffee, all sorts of flavours. I just get the regular cappuccino. They always have lots of people but not too long a wait. Try different coffee bean blends and affagato.

Approximate cost: $5

the long queues outside this little cafe tells you everything. it is definitely worth the wait and the friendly staff makes this a lovely place to visit for the coffee fix. very much loved by the uni students too.

Always a pretty good coffee but I think it has become too popular of late and overpriced. Service can be slow and unfriendly and it is almost impossible these days to get a table. I find that the coffee can be a little acidic and actually prefer to buy their coffee from other cafes, in some cases it tastes better and is cheaper as well!

Approximate cost: $3-$3.50

People that know coffee don't go to Gloria Jeans - they go to places like Campos. I actually found out about them through the Living Coffee DVD series by Paul Bassett. The series is a few years old now but I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the featured baristas doing his thing behind the machine when I rocked up! Yep, the premises is small but they are worth seeking out! Best coffee I found in Sydney.

this really close to the uni so expect to find lots of students filled into a tiny place. Staff is excellent with a ready smile and really fast service but the ambience is rather uni cafeteria feeling. Overall a lovely place for good coffee and pies at great prices with excellent service.

Approximate cost: $10

Really great coffee. Gets very crowded and busy in a rather cramped location. Can take a while to get the coffee because of the numbers waiting. Staff seem busy and keep pumping coffees out. But the coffee is good enough to wait for.

From my point of view, this coffee shop is just average. The coffees here are slightly better than other coffee shops like gloria jeans but wouldn't want to travel all the way to newtown to come to this shop

A little severe on the comment. These guys have made a profession out of their chosen vocation and have been moving the whole industry forward. You certainly could not compare them, nor put them even in the same sentence, as those neophytes in Gloria Jeans. Give them some respect!

Fantastic coffee, if you haven't been here yet you should! I would have to say some of the best coffee in sydney, I know these guys have been mentioned alot and have even been reviewed in the new york times but they are really that good. All of the coffees are great "do yourself a favour" and buy some, take it home and enjoy it. I keep putting all my friends onto this place and they now love it and won't buy anywhere else.
