This review is for Sass Bar & Cafe, Erskineville NSW

Sass is trying to be something its not, the food is just average. I had lamb which was overcooked (all the way through) with a side of potatoes which mostly looked burnt! You wouldn't think it would be hard to get this sort of food right and offer it at a sensible price. I would recommend if you are thinking of going to Sass go to the Rose of Australia next door instead you will enjoy it more.

Fantastic coffee, if you haven't been here yet you should! I would have to say some of the best coffee in sydney, I know these guys have been mentioned alot and have even been reviewed in the new york times but they are really that good. All of the coffees are great "do yourself a favour" and buy some, take it home and enjoy it. I keep putting all my friends onto this place and they now love it and won't buy anywhere else.

I love this vet, they have taken very good care of my dog. The staff are incredibly caring and thoughtful and understand any issues you might have. I know some people complain it is a bit expensive but for me if my animal is sick I am not going to shop around for the cheapest price I am going to go to someone I trust that is close to where I live.

This review is for Petbarn, Alexandria NSW

This Pet Barn has great attentive staff, always willing to help out and tell you about a product you are enquiring about. You are able to take your dog in as well which is great. Pet Barn can be a little on the expensive side for some items but you can find things here you don't normally find other places. I often go onto the web to get things as they are cheaper.

This review is for The Deli Erskineville, Erskineville NSW

I wish I could give 3.5 stars for this Deli, it is a great place to go to pick up that something special if you have friends coming over. Some items seem a little pricey but it is not the place to go to do you daily shopping. It is more of a saturday morning want something nice for breakfast or on the way home from work pick up a pre made meal. They don't carry a large range but they carry enough. Bacon is good and fresh and the ham off the bone is lovely.

This review is for Flavours Of Peking, Castlecrag NSW

verified email - 08 Jun 2008

Flavours of Peking is a northern Chinese restaurant the food is quite exceptional when you compare it to some of the chinese in the city. The food always tastes fresh with great flavours. It is always consistent my favourite dish has to be the shredded beef but pretty much everything on the menu is good. It is always packed with Chinese people and any night of the week is busy. If you haven't been but always wondered you should go, you will go back for more.

Cheap little takeaway food in Alexandria, look you get what you pay for. It is relatively cheap but looks clean and fresh. The burgers are just OK, I really miss a good corner shop burger no one seems to be able to do them anymore. Chips are good and the Fish is also OK. It is quite quick and a lot of locals do go there so they must be doing something right.

A great place to go for a special occassion or a good night out with friends. It is not pretentious you feel very relaxed there. The view is great, service is very attentive without being in your face and the food is memorable. The meal is well paced and the waiters listen to you if you want a break. The drinks menu is also excellent.

This review is for Stir Crazy Thai, Erskineville NSW

verified email - 08 Jun 2008

Eat in or take away, best to eat in though as the portions are bigger. Great place to go with a few friends and get a range of dishes. Sesame beef is a great dish as is their Pad Thai and their curry puffs are awesome. They also have a frequent diners card where you can get a free dish when you purchase a certain amount. They are quick with the orders often it all comes at once but it is good if you are getting take away.

This review is for Delhi 'O' Delhi, Newtown NSW

Great little indian restaurant, have eaten there a few times now. There are so many around at the moment it is nice to find a good one. Food is great, some different dishes, some food is hot but it doesn't detract from the flavour. Staff are attentive you don't need to wait too long for food or drinks. Would recommend as somewhere to go, it should be busier.
