It's expensive. They charge to get in and the drinks cost an absolute fortune. But inside they have the best of both worlds. The bottom floor is great for those who like all the modern DJ stuff whilst the top floor cranks out the super hits for the people who like real music.

I went to the Capitol to see Sparkadia when they were in Perth and had a really great time. The venue is much larger than I expected and fit the large crowd quite easily. It was not overly expensive, I was drinking $6 house wines which were absolutely fine, and the service was pretty fast, they had plenty of staff on for the busy gig. Toliets a little small for big crowds and I didn't stay on to check ou the club but a cool nightspot.

This place is great when there's a gig on but if you go there for a normal Saturday night out I'd say avoid it like the plague. It's so incredibly sleazy and dangerous. Bring a bunch of males on to the dance floor if you don't want to be groped. Most essential of all - Keep your hand over the top of your glass at ALL times, my friend got her drink spiked here, lucky she had someone with her for every moment and nothing bad happened. Be careful!!!!
