Great atmosphere and family friendly.Pasta dishes are delicious. Capones pizza is also very good. A little pricey. Allow for a little wait time on a Friday or Saturday night. Worth the wait though.
Approximate cost: $16
This place has a great Italian feel about it. The food is on the whole expensive but is well worth the wait. The pizzas are delicious. The staff seem to be flat out but are a cheerful bunch.
It was good taste and fresh..
Capones make delicious wood fired pizzas and pastas. The ingredients taste fresh and they are generous with their pizza toppings. I have always found the staff to be friendly and accommodating however service can often be slow. Their prices are more expensive that I would probably expect from a country pizza place however it hasn't stopped me from returning.
More expensive than expected. I have dined at another Capones and was quite surprised at the difference. It took a while to place an order and I think if I was with a large group or family, that this would be very frustrating. The food was good, but again I waited too long for it. I would try Capone's Castlemaine again, maybe I got them on a bad night.
These guys are expensive so i would probably not suggest eating there every week. There are so many other cheap pizza pasta shops around these days. However, if you want to taste an amazing pizza this is the place to go. Inch thick toppings, of real toppings not canned produce. eg. ham and pineapple is ham off the bone and fresh pineapple. Great atmosphere too!
