Capri blinds will rob you blind.

One of the Capri Blinds installers had drilled through one of our internal gas pipes causing a gas leak, we then had to pay for asap repairs (by licensed gasfitters) out of our own pocket due to safety and basic necessity of gas. The installer made excuses that the stud finder he used didn’t notify him of a gas pipe where he drilled and also made a baseless claim that ‘the gas pipe didn’t have the minimum setback when installed in accordance to building codes (which of course he couldn’t reference any AS clause or building code) the licensed gas fitter who made the repairs told us there are no official required setback for gaspipes and that regardless of the AS clauses he did drill through the gas pipe and therefore is 100% liable. I have sent a letter of demand with invoice and job report made by the gas leak repairer and yet it has been more than a month since they have not replied to us and have ghosted us.

If you want to hire a contractor who is negligent and shirks responsibility at the first sign of trouble and cuts all contact then Capri Blinds is the one.

If you have any semblance of responsibility or humanity you will pay for the damages which your installer had made and the repairs that we had paid for.

I have all copies of licensed repairs carried out and reports from the gas fitter and correspondences/dates of damges/repairs and subsequent emails i had sent to Vijay regarding payment of damages.

Approximate cost: $2800

I am just about to use Capri for another job having used them in the past. The product is great quality, their customer service is excellent, the installers were friendly and proficient. The whole team are very knowledgeable and professional and made our transaction with them simple and enjoyable. I do not hesitate to recommend Capri blinds

Capri blinds did an amazing job of my whole house. They listened to my requirements and made suggestions and recommendations. Blinds look fabulous and I was happy with their price. Measure and install was smooth. I am very happy with their service and the finished product. I would use them again and highly recommended them.

This guy is a pushy salesman and he forces you to order and pay a deposit on the day of the quote. I eventually gave in and then I found nothing but faults with his venetian blinds. They keep falling down and they get jammed all the time. I just gave up and put up with the faulty blinds. All to hard for me. Don't let him push you into any contracts when he comes around to give you a quote.

Absolutely appalling experience with this company. Ordered blinds under the agreement that they would be delivered on the day before we moved house. The day before they were due to install they rang to say there was a fault in the material and the blinds would not be ready. They offered to produce 2 samples of different blinds in an attempt to convince us they looked better in a different style of blind than the one we ordered. Both were terrible quality and were not fitted properly either. We cancelled the order and the first response we got was a threatening letter from their solicitor. Makes you wonder how many times this has happened before if they don't even have a complaints resolution process. It's an ongoing nightmare. Extremely stressful situation which we did not need on top of moving.

It's unfortunate that the quality of the materials used in the manufacture of their roman and holland blinds isn't matched by their customer service.
Installation was included in the cost of the blinds, but their installer arrived 2 hours after his scheduled time and after installing 3 of the 4 blinds, left the brackets (no screws) stating they were easily installed by a handyman and left. A follow up call from the Manager the next business day was met with abuse when I explained that the installer didn't inspire confidence in the business by doing this. The holland blind wasn't levelled before being installed so one side hangs 2 cms lower than the other.
The quality of materials used is excellent, but given the appalling customer service you would be wise to steer clear of this firm. Concerns are that if you did have a problem there would be little chance of them returning to rectify. I had to pay a handyman to install the last roman blind and remove and reinstall the crooked holland blind. If you're able to install their product, they are worth considering. However, be warned as if you're not satisfied with the work, they may be difficult to deal with.

I totally hear u
I had awnings put in and the stitching was all out of whack
When I complained it took two to three weeks to have the awnings changed
It was phone call after phone call after phone call
Very bad customer service
Do not recommend this business at all
How do they stay in business is what I'd like to know
