I don't usually write reviews, however I am so thrilled with my 'new' hair, I feel compelled. I have curly hair and have worn the same longish style for the past 30 years. I felt rather drab and in desperate need for a change. Being extremely nervous about going shorter, it was with some trepidation that I approached Lucy at CAST, Fitzroy North. No need for fear. We had a good pre-cut discussion, with Lucy listening to my concerns. I arrived at the point of confidence, where I said - I trust you, just go for it. And she did. What a master! Lucy can cut hair. She shaped my hair to create so much more style, even though she didn't take it really short (really short might be my next cut, ha ha). Lucy understands curls, having them herself, so she used a nifty styling/drying technique that has made my curls, beautiful curls. I love my hair Lucy, thanks!

Great salon that are very honest when consulting re cutting or colouring your hair . My stylist was Lucy and I can honestly say I have never had a better cut in my life. My colourist was Nicola , she knows colour . I feel 10 years younger . Love how they understood my needs. I will be recommending this salon to all my friends.

Really pleased with my cut and blow dry, my boyfriend commented several times on how much he liked it. But service could be improved - it just felt a tiny bit like they would rather you weren't there! I walked in and 3 staff were chatting, one of them turned and just looked at me with raised eye-brows, no greeting, no smile. The girl who was actually doing reception was lovely though. My stylist was nice, but there was more sales pitch with the products than I'm used to. So all in all, happy with the results, just didn't really enjoy the experience.

Amazing service! Lucy at Cast is amazing with curly hair - haven't had anyone with as much knowledge about curly hair - probably because she has curly hair herself! Knows exactly how to cut and style curly hair and how to handle it at home. Products are expensive - however that's the same at any hairdresser.

Sally is my hairdresser and gives the best cut, colour and friendly efficient service I have ever had. She is very talented and amazing. She listens to what you want!!! It is a truly luxurious experience. I can not recommend her highly enough.

After years of going to the same hairdresser I decided to branch out and find one that specializes and understands curly hair. After some research I found a forum that kept talking about Lucy at Cast. I had my hair cut and coloured at Cast this week and I'm a convert to Lucy and the whole salon. She knew her stuff and was honest with her opinion. My colourist - Rommie was also fantastic and the result is awesome. It was more expensive than what I would usually pay but totally worth it. From what I could tell the rest of the staff were cool, relaxed and friendly
