Central Baking Depot

My colleagues and I sat down here for coffee during our weekly meeting this week and I loved the atmosphere. There is a very rustic charm to this cafe, especially with the open plan design. The ovens are not hidden away in the back but are clearly visible from the inside of the shop and this adds a nice touch. I also enjoyed being able to look around at the many breads and pastries on display.

I love the Central Baking depot, my favourite thing is their chocolate tart. Their pastries are yummy too.

If you want some amazing pies or sausage rolls this place is the answer for you in the CBD. Quite convenient to Wynyard Station. The coffee is ordinary though.

Friendly staff. Delicious and fresh bakery items. Lovely bread, a different type daily, sandwiches, tarts, pastries. Good coffee. Also now in Neutral Bay. Both locations very popular. A must for when you are in the area. Good value.

This place is great for their delicious muffins (I concur on the strawberry and ricotta!) but they're also great for lunch... as long as you don't mind the wait, there can be quite a line during the week. But I do love their takeaway pizzas - which they fold in half in a handy ready-to-eat way.

This place is absolutely divine. I love all the sweet food here - you must try the strawberry and ricotta muffin; it is heavenly. The food is quite expensive here (compared to other bakeries) but the quality is very high. I highly recommend this place!

what can i say but that this is place DEVINE! I love all the sweets and pastries. Price is not particularly cheap but is worth it due to the quality of the product.

Great for work lunches, all items below $10. Yummy sandwiches, soup of the day, sausage rolls (from sister store, Bourke Street Bakery), pastries, cakes, tarts.. love just about everything on the menu!
