Came here for just a typical korean meal but was blown away by the standard of the food. The meat and prawns were fresh unlike many KBBQ. Overall had a great experience.

We got the spicy pork bulgogi and seafood pancake which were both delicious but the spicy sweet potato noodles weren't the greatest and I've had japchae in a few different Korean places around. The menu was a bit restrictive too, we didn't even end up using the bbq because you could only use it if you were getting this platter which was around $60 and we didn't feel like spending that much.

A really good mid-range bistro for korean barbecue.
The food was reasonable in terms of freshness, quality and serving sizes. Service levels from waitstaff were reasonable and friendly, as you would expect from a bistro. We enjoyed our meal, in surrounds that were pleasant and relaxed. From a comparative stand point, Changgo sits between Joomak and Little Lamb. It delivers good food at a reasonable price. I prefer it over Oriental Spoon, because of the smaller more cosy atmosphere.

Came to ChangGo with a few of my close friends for Korean BBQ. They served good food and helpful & friendly staff. MUST TRY the 8 flavours of Pork belly!!!! Very Yummy ...
Highly recommended! It is really good value for money!

Been to ChangGo a few times and each time we had the 8 flavours of pork. Really tasty and great atmosphere. The seats actually open up for you to put your bags and jackets inside. The place gets really packed so definitely make sure to book ahead of time or you'll be waiting for ages. Service is good and they cook on your table for you.

There is a real hype about this little establishment and the lines of people waiting at meal times is very evident.

Popular as this is a rather cute and unique Korean BBQ restaurant we were lured in by its popularity. They offer 2 different BBQ sets, one with 8 types of pork belly and another featuring a beef selection (serving 2-3 people per BBQ set). These 2 sets come with sides, rice and a traditional stew etc.

They also had a good sharing menu with dumplings and stone bowl meals like bibimbap.

We came here on a hot day and it was like roasting in a little hot box. Good atmosphere if you like it loud but would recommend coming on a cold day to keep you warm and more comfort.

Approx. $25-30 per person which is a pretty good price given the amount of food you get. Taste-wise is ok - not amazing but not bad either. All in all, we did not understand why the long lines.

The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with.

Try to pop in just before or, at meal time to avoid the queues. Otherwise, self-serve by leaving your name on the clip board outside and take a number.
