Love this restaurant. Great location (right at the Fremantle Boat Harbour) - although parking could be an issue especially during peak hours. Delectable food! You can never go wrong with any of their steaks - it's the house specialty! Pork dishes are not to be missed as well. Good selection of wine, and of course, dessert.

Huge restaurant on the water in Fremantle. Due to parking problems, we were 5 minutes late and they had already given our table to someone else. We had to sit and wait then they decided to make up a table right by the door, bit embarassing. We were seated and orders taken and given to us without 15 minutes. We felt rushed and although the food was fantastic, we were disappointed that we were not made to welcome. The steaks were great and all the sides very nice. Great wine list and fully licensed.

I really enjoyed Char Char Bull.

The entire atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely- right on fremantle's fishing boat harbour, dimly lit.

The quality of our food was immense. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection like no other i have had before! And although it looked small, was actually the perfect size. Even the mash that came with it was deliciously creamy.
he standard of service I saw here was one of the best in Perth. All staff were professional, well groomed and friendly.

Although quite pricey (luckily i wasn't paying) the food really was worth the pricetag. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to go back!

We went to Char char bull last Monday night and had the best meal.
Group of our, the restaurant was busy for a Monday, we were seated straight away at a table by the window(how lucky for us) and staff were friendly and attentive throughout.
We ordered from an extensive menu and were thrilled with the presentation of the food. Steaks were perfectly cooked and very tasty. Deserts to die for and coffee yum!
To top it off we had entertainment cards which ave us a $70 discount and he didn't scratch it instead saying we can return to use it again!!! We sure will.

quite surprised with this restaurant. Went expecting not much. I think their only issue is too many waitstaff. We had one for drinks, then another that also took our entrée order, then another that took our mains order. After 35 minutes and our beers had run out, mains rocked up. Where was our entrée? Woops! we declined the offer to take our mains back (we were hungry by then) and tucked into beautiful steaks and barramundi. Cooked brilliantly, and ample sauce to get through the whole meal. By way of apology for forgetting our entrée and making us wait so long, the restaurant gave us free dessert. again, amazing! Despite the set back I would be happy to eat here again.. and again...

Always great food, service is pretty good. Can get load but staff always willing to help accommodate a private area when available, love the steak!

Great Food and Great Location. This is a very nice reataurant. Was very helpful when we brought the baby and pram and made us feel very welcome. Food was delicious and service was very speedy... Parking can sometimes be a hassle

a fantastic venue in the fishing boat harbour with speciality steak is a life time memory for anyone especially fishing lovers. a great atmosphere one should not miss out the experience which is very flourishing one

The food and dining experience at Char Char Bull is top notch. The owners apparently used to run Sails, which was my favourite restaurant up until they closed their doors. While Char Char Bull isn't quite a replacement, it's fantastic all the same. If you have friends / family that are really picky about how they like their steaks, bring them here. There'll be no complaining, guaranteed!
