This review is for Pharmacy Direct, Silverwater NSW

Pharmacy Direct are fantastic when you're about to run out of something, or don't have something on hand, but are either too unwell or busy to make it to the chemist yourself. I've had interactions with customer service and can confirm they're polite and helpful and I have no qualms in using them again in the future.

This review is for Char Char Bull, Fremantle WA

The food and dining experience at Char Char Bull is top notch. The owners apparently used to run Sails, which was my favourite restaurant up until they closed their doors. While Char Char Bull isn't quite a replacement, it's fantastic all the same. If you have friends / family that are really picky about how they like their steaks, bring them here. There'll be no complaining, guaranteed!

This review is for Movies By Burswood, Burswood WA

I would recommend a night out at Movies by Burswood to anyone looking for an alternative family movie night. It's a real community feel, with everyone perched on picnic rugs and chatting amongst themselves before the film. The best part is that it's catered so if you didn't have the time or foresight to take along a snack, you can pick things up there. Also, the movies are both new releases and old faithfuls, so the selection is brilliant.

This review is for Roses Only, Sydney NSW

I've found Roses Only to be over-hyped honestly. While, yes, the flowers are beautiful, sometimes the selections aren't the best and the prices charged are exorbitant! But again, having recently ordered some flowers as a thank you for a friend of mine, the finished product is lovely. While not something you'd want to do on a regular basis unless you had a bottomless bank account, if you want to make a good impression, this is definitely a way to go.

This review is for T2 Tea, Sydney NSW

T2 has some of the best flavoured teas available anywhere. The convenience of ordering online when you can't get to a store is fantastic and the site is very well designed and an absolute pleasure to use.

This review is for Gloria Jean's Coffees, Warwick WA

Gloria Jeans coffee is consistent whichever branch you visit, which is great. There's nothing worse than wondering if the $ you've just spent will be worth it or not. The only downside to my visit was a lack of cherry syrup! Cherry syrup in a long black is my favourite coffee ever.

This review is for Qantas, Sydney NSW

The last few times I've travelled with Qantas I've been frustrated by delays, the longest was almost 90 minutes, which when you have friends waiting for you on the other end, isn't great. Overall, though, they're a reliable carrier with a great frequent flier program and excellent facilities in the Qantas Club. I was ill onboard one trip to Melbourne, and the staff were very sympathetic and caring and helpful, for which I was very grateful. Also, from a catering perspective, if you have particular dietary requirements, you only have to let them know and when it's meal time, you're served first!

This review is for Virgin Australia, Brisbane QLD

verified email - 06 Jun 2008

I like that with Virgin, you get what you pay for. I have managed to save a lot of money by travelling Virgin. The "pay as you consume" culture is fabulous, because really, why pay for things you're not interested in? I really like that the staff are fun and a little outlandish.

This review is for Progressive Supa IGA, Success WA

verified email - 06 Jun 2008

I've found there's a real issue with freshness here. It's convenient if you haven't got the time or inclination to walk a little further to one of the other supermarkets with better turnover, but the prices aren't terribly competitive unless you're shopping for loss leaders.

This review is for Cotton On Clothing, Hillarys WA

verified email - 06 Jun 2008

The standard of clothing going through Cotton On is seriously disappointing. Since it's all made in China anyway, remind me again why I'm paying so much for things that will fall apart after three wears?? I'd definitely prefer to shop elsewhere if I'm paying along the same amounts or slightly more, and getting better value per wear.
