I meet Dr Mumford accidentally. After tripping over our trailer at storage and face planting the concrete I snapped my front tooth straight off. The next person to drive into storage was Dr Mumford. He saw me sitting there and asked if I was ok. After explaining what had happened he showed immense care and compassion. I was in the process of searching for an emergency dentist. Dr Mumford immediately put himself forward to help, even thought he was on holidays. He opened his surgery for me and reattached my tooth with so much care and competence. My husband, 2 children and I have found our new dentist. I will forever be grateful to this kind and brilliant man who came to the aid of a complete stranger.

It's so good to have complete confidence in your healthcare provider! It was great to get reliable advice regarding my son's impacted tooth. A real find.

He did a fabulous job. I now have a full tooth and you cannot see which is not real.

Dr Mumford & his dental nurse are the best! Very funny, make you feel relaxed, kind & caring. I’ve had so much dental work with different dentists & Dr Mumford is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He 100% all about you & not about the money. The nurse is a total delight & the surgery is spectacular! Highly recommend!

I'd heard about the anti snoring devices and needed a dentist who could make up an anti snoring mouthguard device for my chronic snoring. Richard did a fabulous job. He took a mold of my teeth and had the device made and fitted within a couple of weeks. I now use it every night. I sleep much better and wake up refreshed and my wife doesn't have to sleep in the spare room any more! Thanks Richard.

I hadn't been to the dentist for a couple of years and was concerned about a molar filling, so decided to book an appointment with Richard. So glad I did. He was fabulous - gentle and professional. I barely felt the injection for the filling and the procedure was quick and painless. Excellent dentist and excellent value. I'd highly recommend him for the whole family.

We visited Dr Mumford yesterday for a tooth extraction for my 12 year old son. Dr Mumford was extremely reassuring to my nervous son. He was knowledgeable, soothing and skilled too, which was a great help for me and my son! I would highly recommend him, a lovely old school dentist. He took the time to explain the procedure and he gave my son (and me) every confidence in his ability. A really good dental experience.

I regularly attend Dr Richard Mumford's surgery for check ups every six months. His work is excellent and I've never had a problem. My best experience was when he replaced a crown on a front tooth a couple of years ago and it is the best one I've ever had - three previous crowns on this tooth. It feels exactly the same as a real tooth, which is rare. In the past, I've had to attend different people to get a crown made, and fitted, so this experience was a great relief, as it was all done by one person. The crown was gold with porcelain, made in Australia, not a cheapo from anywhere else in our region. His rates are lower than the norm, and this is a plus for me, as a retiree. His surgery is very central, being in Archer Street, Chatswood...and let's face it, you can't go past a man with a sense of humour.

I attended Dr Mumfords surgery on October 7, 2014 for an annual check up, cleaning, and repair to a chipped tooth. I was very pleased with Dr Mumford's attention. He is the only dentist I have ever been to who could make me laugh! Everything about his surgery is good: the foyer lounge is really comfortable, his assistant/receptionist is friendly, and the cost of all this is very reasonable -- below the usual rate which I, as a pensioner, really appreciate. The other thing to mention is that Dr Mumford gave me a good overview of what he had done and why, and the general condition of my teeth.
