Checker is a great venue, the food is terrific, and the atmosphere is great. You could not find a better deal anywhere else. Worth the trip no matter where you live.

Look out for Chris, she is great! Good variety of food, savory and sweet. Try the punters club on a Wednesday night, great value and lots of fun. Seniors card accepted.

A good night out whether it be with the family or mates you will have a good night. Some drinks, food and a small amount of gambling, hopefully you'll win like my other half did, which covered the costs of dinner.

Buffet food is great, a good range of food. I'd only go as a treat once and awhile, because of the Saturday price. Tables are close together so not alot of room to get in and out. Not recommended if you have a pram.

Fun night out. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty expensive (about $45 I think) for the buffet, but there is a good selection of food especially if you like seafood (my husband ate his weight in Crab in think!) They also have a great chocolate fondue fountain for dessert. You have a view of the racetrack while you eat so you can watch the Dogs and have a bet if you want.
