I've had a roast dinner from here a while ago and it was pretty good, but yesterday we went and I got a burger and my husband got a sausage sub, he said his sub was 'just ok' and my burger wasn't good at all, the meat tasted like a frozen processed pattie. On the good side, the chips with gravy were yum.
This place has an amazing sausage roll! They also offer gluten free options which is fantastic as we have a GF intolerant family member. The prices are good, the food is delicious and the service always friendly
Accommodation around this area can be very expensive, but we found a good deal here. The apartments are comfortable and clean and in a good location. Great for a family
We went here for my daughter's birthday and had a great time. It's a revolving restaurant which was a great novelty for a child. The food has an asian influence - sushi, asian dishes, etc. It's buffet. Only negative is that it's fairly expensive.
My only negative about this place is that they never seem to be open when we go by or they have nothing left! But when we can get hold of a pie there....yummo!
For a quick bite to eat this place is great and excellent value. They have a display of pre-made sandwiches and also have a sandwich bar so you can order. My husband had a chicken, avocado and salad focaccia and I had a ham, cheese, tomato toasted and they were both delicious.
Friendly service, great coffee, yummy breakfasts and a lovely setting. There aren't a lot of cafes in this part of Mermaid Beach so it's a great little place to have locally.
Fantastic location with a beer garden overlooking the lake. It's just a hotel, nothing fancy as far as interior goes. The food is standard bistro fare...chicken schnitzel, fish and chips, steaks etc. I had calamari and it was pretty good. The prices are fairly standard.
Using a '2 for 1' voucher that we had it was tremendous value. The burgers are huge and very filling. There is a wide range to choose from - chicken - lamb - beef - vegetarian. I've tried one of the wagyu ones and the one with blue cheese sauce. Both were delicious.
Fantastic location with seating on the timber deck over looking Main Beach at byron bay. We ate breakfast here using a '2 for 1' coupon from the entertainment book, which made is so affordable! I had pancakes with coconut ice-cream and the ice-cream was delicious! My husband had the big breakfast but it wasn't really so big! He liked it all, except for the potato rosti which was way over herbed.
