I love Cheeky Chocolate, the place is a chocoholic's dream. The macarons are really delicious and their range of caked are to die for. I really love the decor of the place too.
Have heard rave views about this place and considering Adriano Zumbo had an influence on the menu, had to come and see what the fuss is about.
As soon as Mum and I walked in we both amazed at the decor - lovely chandeliers hanging above, desserts calling our name from underneath the glass display cabinets and leather seating ...oh my!
I recommend the macarons ( chocolate) especially and the black forrest cake! Both were amazing and delicious. They also serve cocktails here, suprisingly but we had coffee.
Staff were very friendly... definitely a place to come for a catch up over decadent desserts!
My husband goes here often, they have work parties and he also takes the kids for afternoon tea treats.
He finds the service is not great. He often has to wait to get served. There is a good selection of cakes/treats.
He has pretty much tried all the treats on show and says their Devine.
He also recommends the coffee, kids love going here for the chocolate of course.
Overall a good visit
Approximate cost: $20.00
TOTALLY agree with the service, here. The food is amazing, and the coffee is good, but the service can be verrrrry slow.
Set in the pretty, refurbished Bakehouse Quarter in North Strathfield, Cheeky Chocolate isn't necessarily very 'cheeky', but it definitely delivers on the chocolate.
Initially drawn in by the promise of Toby's Estate coffee, I swiftly forgot the beans and was mesmerised by the display of exquisitely styled Adriano Zumbo coutoure-chocolate indulgences. Everything from a veritable rainbow of macarons, to what could only be described as a choc-caramel BOOBS, glistening in neat rows of the lit display case of the atmospheric space. They owners have clearly wasted no expense in creating a very special space.
Cheeky Chocolate isn't for lunch. Really. But if you want your coffee and chocolate dessert to make your tastebuds EXPLODE, it's waiting for you. It's prettily decorated with dark vintage chandeliers and stuffed leather sofas, and the coffee and chocolate treats are nothing short of exquisite. At night, the place glows like every fantasty I've ever had of magical Parisian cafes.
it's surprisingly well priced--you'll grab your coffee and dessert for $13 together. Comparable to your local Gloria Jeans, but immeasurably better. But the place is busy. Try get there in the day, or before 8pm at night when it's so crowded you'll be waiting 15 minutes for that coffee, and lucky to find a seat.
Sounds delicious, thanks for the recommendation!
You can meet antique & vintage interior decoration.
But that is all...
I have been visited here just one time, ordered a milk shake(shake was $6) it was so bad-_-;
And there were lots of dessert including jumbo macaroon,
I had macaroons then not that good.
It was zumbo, not a jumbo...my mistake
Another of Adriano Zumbo's greatest creations! My mouth was watering from the moment I stepped into this cafe. I ordered the chocolate creme brulee and didn't regret it a single bit. It was fantastic, with all the right textures in one little dish. A little over priced for a dessert but nonetheless delicious.
Approximate cost: $15
