I have not had coffee from here before but fortunately due to a train cancellation had time to kill and bought a coffee, great coffee, and service with a smile
Not bad but definitely not the best. Coffee not the best, muc prefer up the road at espresso 3094, but give these guys a try
Approximate cost: $20
A lovely .relaxing place we have been visiting for over 10 years.Delicious home made scones, muffins which are always beautiful and fresh.
Best value for money in Montmorency and always a favourite food destination!
I'm a regular customer at Cherry Red lately and it's the service, great food and tea that keeps me coming back. There are some really nice choices for breakfast and lunch and, as a tea drinker, I love the fact that they serve T2 tea. There's a good range of food to choose from and I highly recommend their chicken salad and the chips that come with some of their meals (chunky, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle - perfect!). The staff are polite and friendly and they cater for early morning commuters needing a caffeine hit before catching the train. And I'm told the coffee's worth it.
Approximate cost: $10-15 approx.
This business has changed hands, now reflected in extremely poor service. Girl with a surly expression on the counter, not a smile or greeting, very lacking in customer service. Ordered coffee, waited 15 minutes, and TWICE had to ask where my order was, as two others who came in later than me were served first. No apologies, barista did not have a clue as to what she was doing, and very very slow. Has gone downhill since new management, needs to lift their game, as there is better service, and coffee, at the other shops in Monty.
Delicious food and a pleasant ambiance. Gets a little hot in summer and the gelati is rather runny. The breakfast menu is fabulous - I particularly love the poached eggs on parmesan toast! Their croissants and scones are delightful and the muffins are laden with juicy fruit, which is lovely for a brunch. A little more pricey than other local cafes and they don't have eftpos, but its still our favourite local cafe.
Approximate cost: $15
Love the coffee here and the egg and bacon rolls and fruit salad are truly awesome. Has a quirky eclectic feel mismatched furniture and tables which I really like as it makes it nice and casual. One of the better cafes in Were St.
Approximate cost: $12
In for a morning coffee, and after waiting an excessive time, the customer who had ordered just after me was served at least 5 minutes prior to my coffee arriving. Coffee was good, but service needs to be sorted out. Excuse from waitress was poor, blamed number of orders, and no apology.
