A good solid local restaurant with relaxed vibe and friendly staff. My experiences here have always been great, however some of the feedback has been mixed from others. Olivier is very welcoming and his hospitality really adds to the experience.

It seems so hard to get food worthy of the name 'fine dining' these days, but thankfully there are still places like this to satisfy people like me.
The food here is amazing, the service excellent. I had steak which was amazing in a buttery jus or some sort (can't recall the name of it now) and my husband was equally delighted with his meal. We will happily return to this restaurant again and again.

This restaurant has an authentic French feel to it-all the waiting staff have heavy French accents! I have only ordered steak as I enjoyed it so much the first time, I can't resist ordering it again and again! It is of beautiful quality and has a lovely char grilled flavor. I have tried a number of desserts and they have been delicious. The ambiance is not up to the standard of the food, with a the room being a bit dark and appearing somewhat poorly maintained. The staff are pleasant, although not always that knowledgable. The lunch special represents quite good value.

This is the new local venue for another Chez Olivier. Its sister restaurant is well known in Greville St Prahran. This one is very small but has a lovely atmosphere. I had lunch here and had the Nicoise Salad made with seared Yellow Fin Tuna which was delicious. I tried a friend's minute steak which was fair and another friend said the tripe was quite good. We were served quickly although once the place filled the service became a little slow. They offer a special lunch and dinner special Sunday to Thursday so there are good options for a reasonable meal for either meals.
