Hi there, I'm updating my review for Chillies at Newton 2020 We have been dining there weekly to fortnightly for some years now - we still love it like we did at first. I used to have Beef Kashmirri or Curried Veggies every time - my absolute favorites. Recently, I have been ordering Beef Korma and also Beef Madras many times - my absolute new favourite! I like to order a meal to take home as well, each time we have Lunch there.
Oh Yum, I thought I would like to try one of my sister's favourites there, last time we went - the Vegetable Biryani - it's absolutely fabulous! We have never been disappointed there, with their standard for TASTE and Service. Wish they were closer, so we could go more often, so I bought 3 Meals Today. At $10.90 for their Lunch Special on Thursday and Friday, it is affordable to do that sometimes. Thank You Chillies, for our many hours of PLEASURE we have there. We wish you well.
Chillies is our local Indian takeaway, and we feel very lucky for it! Every dish we have tried so far has been delicious!
Tried this place with my husband. Not very busy but the food was good and inexpensive. There is a great sweets store right next door too for dessert!
Our Favourite Indian Restaurant! Friends invited us there for a few birthday meals and we commenced taking my sister there when she visits from interstate. She is a connoisseur by nature and really LOVES the cuisine there as WE DO. There is a really gracious Hostess there and her girls are sweet also. You will feel welcome and satisfied! Our favourites at chillies are: Med Butter Chicken, Med Rogan Josh and Beef Kashmirri. If you would like the best accompaniment you have tried at an Indian Cuisine venue.....you really should order their SAMOSAS...they are Superb and good value!!!!! CHEERS to CHILLIES......well done! Have driven past this place so many times but never gone in but I'm glad I now have and will continue to. My girlfriend and I had beef vindaloo, butter chicken, naan, rice (to share) and a coffee and only came up to $46 and we were full. Give this place a go, you won't be disappointed

I ordered for the first time for home delivery a few months back. I was totally stunned that it was delivered in under 25 minutes! Perhaps just lucky??? My mum and I shared a main course as well as naans, entrees and a desert. All the food was hot and fresh and all bar the vegetarian pukkora type things were very flavoursome. The pukkoras were just veges in a batter, not much flavor but they tasted better with one of the supplied sauces. The carrot based dessert was to die for! It was a little pricier that what I would normally spend on takeaway (but mum was paying). I would certainly order for them again, but not on a once a week basis purely due to cost. The menu was pretty varied so there would be something new to try next time.

We find their prices alright - pretty good for Indian Cuisine. We enjoy their Lunch Specials $10.90 on Thursdays and Fridays 12 - 2.30pm. They always give you free Papadams with Mint and Cucumber Raita before your meal. I've been to some Indian Restaurants who don't do this. We sometimes order a Takeaway as well - these serves are generous and quality is always the same.
Went there for lunch one weekday a couple of weeks back. It was 1pm and the restaurant was empty. There were 4 of us. No one came to serve us. We found our own table and went into the back to look for the person in charge, Anyway I order the `Mango Chicken' curry with rice whilst my friend order the Lamb Korma. The food came after about 20 mins. Overall, I find the mango chicken abit sweet for my liking. Maybe it is because it is `lunchtime' but the crowd was not there. Guess I may come in again to try `dinnertime'.

Yes, I would try it again - we love Chillies and other regular patrons we see on Thursday and Friday Lunchtimes do also. I can tell you this, it is very irregular for someone to come in, not to be greeted and taken to a table. Usually always, someone will greet you and do the honors that includes serving you with a nice bottle of cold filtered water, followed by free complementary Papadams and Raita about 5 Mins after that. A Nice Experience!
WOW amazing food! They are a bit further than my local takeaway but they are worth the drive. I didnt dine in but it looked ok. I have one of their menu's so i am going to start at the top and work my way through.

Very impressed with the quality and taste. Prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic and quick. The restaurant is always full which is testament to the staff and the food experience. If there is one disappointing point to this place it is they no longer provide a thai menu but would really recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys indian food.

This is still my favourite restaurant, however, my husband was very disappointed that they no longer cook Thai food. They have updated their menu and it is only Indian now. They have also refurbished their restaurant and it looks great! The bathroom, however is still a little room out the back. Can't beat the quality of the food and service! Keep going back for more!
