I love this place! A secret garden hideaway in the middle of Darling Harbour. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, and the surrounding high rise buildings only serve to make this place more special. The entry is very reasonable ($6) especially as a student ($3) and I always have a lovely time. The tea house is a little overpriced and the quality of the dumplings aren't amazing (I wouldn't get them again) but the Chinese teas are delicious, and a good size to share.

Approximate cost: $6

Sounds like a great spot in Sydney to check out and I agree those prices are reasonable.

This was a very peaceful place to come. It was a relaxed atmosphere. We had tea and cheesecake and it was just a place you didn't want to leave too soon. There were koi in the lake too, but it would have been nicer to have more of them in the lake to make it prettier.

The garden is so beautiful and you can even see it from the outside! Before you enter and pay you can see plenty of ducks, fish and other birds. Once you go in it's a totally different atmosphere- you wouldn't even guess that you're in the city!

Beautiful environment, it is so peaceful and a lovely setting. I was here for a wedding once and it was gorgeous! The ducks and fish are a winner with the younger children and it is a great place to relax and rest.

The garden has a beautiful scenery and has an air of peace and tranquility. The Chinese Teahouse is a peaceful place to enjoy tea. This is a great place to take people visiting from overseas as it is a good place to relax and is very inexpensive at the following prices:
Adults $6
Children (under 15 yrs) $3
Family (2 adults & 2 children) $15
Concession (Australian pensioners and students only) $3
Audio Tour (English and Mandarin) $4

So beautiful for taking photographs. Can be romantic with little "hiding" spots to sit and relax and forget about the hustle and bustle right outside the perimeter.

You can dress up in traditional Chinese costumes to enhance the experience. Extra charge for this but makes the photographs that little bit more "authentic".

They do weddings.

A wonderful, peaceful haven in the middle of Sydney. These Gardens are amazing! My only criticism is that the tea-house menu had too many Western food and drink items on it.

Approximate cost: $6
