Chinese Garden Restaurant, such friendly service and kind. the food is amazing, i order the beef with oyster sauce with rice, it is delicious.

We were in the area, so why not. I felt like some Asian food.
We did takeaway, so when we got back to the hotel and tried it, it wasn't bad. Not the best we've had, but it did the job.
They have some very alluring deals going, with a 3 course lunch going for $13 per head. How's that for cheap!

Amazing value for money (got free prawn crackers as well!). The lemon chicken is a must, a little sweet, but still is very tasty. Great service too. I'll be back soon :)

The Chinese Gardens is an out standing restuarant, the food is amazing, I have been getting my chinese from there for years. Great value and great service. Love the $12.00 Lunch meau special

By far my favourite chinese place in Tasmania! Dont be deceived by how small this restaurant is! The service is brilliant, Tony is a star and very welcoming!! Their lunch time 3 course for $12 is an absolute bargain!! Lemon Chicken and Singapore noodles are PERFECT!! Thats why we keep coming back!!

A small, dingy looking little restaurant that probably does more business in take-away than it does with regular diners. Their battered honey or lemon chicken dishes are sensational, but having said that, I've never had a bad dish there.

We also dined in for a banquet one evening and the food was equally excellent.

The service can often be a little slow, sometimes the person cooking out back seems to be the only one in the place which can get frustrating, even when you've phoned your order ahead you can still get stuck waiting.

Still, the quality of the food is worth the inconvenience.
