We came here after we saw the ridiculous lineup at a certain other chocolate shop nearby.... Soooo worth it!!! Take away churros for two was so nice!! ( and I didn't have to share with my boyfriend ;D ) and their takeaway treats are delish!! But the one thing that won us over was the mango shake!! Oh my goodness TO DIE FOR!! I'm glad I don't live in Brisbane as this could turn into a very unhealthy obsession!! Try this place - it is wonderful!!

Went to Riverfire - Saturday 29th September 2012 - stayed at Mantra with family - had heard good things about Chocolateria San Churro - but OMG... AMAZING!!! Group of 4 ladies looking for dessert - shop was busy but not overcrowded - managed to get a table for 4 without any drama - my sister and I ordered the Spanish Hot Chocolate - Azteca - with chilli and cinnamon spice - sooooo good! I love spicy food, so this was awesome - not sickly sweet - very rich, dense, spicy - $5.95; another lady in our group ordered the Chocolate Tapas (with churros - like crispy long donut sticks; chocolate truffles; icecream; caramel dipping sauce and strawberries - we shared this plate (ample for 4 ladies); another lady in our group had a hot chocolate (milk couverture - very rich and creamy) - luckily my sister's husband turned up to finish off the tapas platter as it was way too much for us ladies - total bill for 4 was $37.80 and we could not have eaten another thing!

Ate here once. The quality of the chocolate was very good. But would not recommend to friends. Service was a bit shot as they forgot where we were sitting twice. Go to Uncle Brenner's for a good feed and good vibe

Went for an after lunch dessert after bumping into a work college who recommended this place for something sweet.

When the churros with cinnamon sugar came out, there was 6 of them and it was very yummy dipping into the milk and white chocolate.

Then I noticed that the table next to us to arrived 5 minutes after we did got their drinks before ours, I ordered an iced coffee & iced mocha ... I thought it was strange that we ordered before they did... I managed to flagged down a waiter who came back to say that the ticket hadn't come out. What a strange response as logic tells me that if the ticket didn't come through we wouldn't of received our churros in the first place.

Anyways it would of been nice if they told the truth in the first instance as they have obviously have forgotten our order.

I'd say go to Max Brenners, the food always come out in a timely matter.

The total bill was around $26 for churros for 2 and 2 iced drinks.

P.s. The Churros place at Bryron Bay is the best!

Very delicious! It was worth every cent. Only problem is not all drinks availavble on soy milk. The churros are delicious with many choices of dipping sauces

We had Churros for 2 some with cinnamon and some with icing sugar and both milk chocolate and dark chocolate for dipping. Personally I preferred cinnamon coated Churros dipped in dark chocolate. I also had a Spanish mocha. If you haven't tried San Churro yet then I recommend you do. They are now in major cities in most states and an awesome dining experience. So go and treat yourself!

New chocolate cafe in Southbank! Very similar to Max Brennar however it's main focus is Churros. Similar melted chocolate fondue and drinks however a little bit different-you get more melted chocolate per serve and the waiting times are less tha Max Brennar. Good to try.
