This eatery was really easy to find as the yellow banners were not hard to miss. The menu was pretty straight forward with 2 types of ramen soup either normal or spicey. The pork slices are very thin and delicate, for someone who does not like pork very much, this is very yummy!

You get a small serving of spicey pickled vegie and that gives the soup another dimension in flavour.

There is no surcharge on credit card and water dispenser for your convenience.

I purchase the Entertainment Book annually to support my local non profit organisation. We don't go out very much but when you have vouchers of either buy 1 get 1 free, or 25% off your total bill, it's worth the effort to try new eateries. By the end of the 12 months the coupons used is usually about 20%, which doesn't really matter because it has paid for itself.

The only thing that I will not buy again is those Coles/Kmart gift vouchers. Although you do save 5% on the giftcards, they tend to arrive around the 6 week mark. Luckily the customer service officers are very prompt to reply to any issues regarding these gift cards (yes there were quite a few issues) and they were quick to respond to the situation. So I commend them on their great customer service, but I will not buy the gift cards again, maybe I am the only one who has bad luck with the gift cards?

Either than that there are also accommodation discounts and other various shopping discounts that I do not use. The website is a great tool to search for accommodation as well. And they also have an app for your smart phone to search for deals.

Overall thumbs up!

If you want somewhere relaxing and quiet away from the noisey eateries but not too far from the heart of South Bank, this is the perfect place for it!

If you love Italian food, this is one of my favourites in the area. The decor colours is warm and inviting (pity no air con in the summer time)

Went for Saturday lunch and ordered the mushroom arancini for entree and sausage pizza to share. Great wine choices which the waiter was more than happy to recommend. The menu is simple and unassuming.

Great way to spend a weekend afternoon with great company and yummy food!

I really love the range of Japanese fabrics this shop sells. Top end fabrics so you know would produce quality products.

They have great service and more than willing to help with queries. Would definitely buy from them again if I was looking for a particular fabric print.

As I don't normally eat or buy icecream, this place exceeded all expectations of how icecream should really be.

For $4.95 a scoop is a bit rich but if you only have it once in a while as a treat, it is totally worth it.

The icecream is really creamy and not as sweet as you would buy elsewhere. It was just perfect for a hot day sitting in their air con space and reading the latest magazines. They also have take home packs as well, which I think is good value.

Great customer service with a smile. I only visit this store a few times a year to stock up on certain toiletries, clothing and general items.

What I really like at this store is the fact that they sell fabric. Even though it's in bundles of 1 meter and fat quarters, I really like the range.

I have been coming here for the last 5 years (thanks to the Entertainment Book voucher discount) and yes the standard of food has changed somewhat over the years.

Reminiscing the stone grill menu back in the day where you cook your own steak with skewered prawns was devine. They do not have that on the menu anymore which could be a change with the times.

We usually come here for the the steak as that's our preferred steak restaurant in Southbank as it's in a quiet location away from the crowds.

The only thing that has not changed is the lemon lime bitters, they have always been really good at a really good price.

Overall the restaurant food is consistently good, service can be a hit and miss, atmosphere is always pleasant. But yeah I still reminisce how good it used to be and here's to hoping!

Extensive cocktail, drinks and wine menu. Didn't order any of the cocktails as it was a work lunch with boss.

It seemed to be very busy as it was during the Friday lunch service that the food was a bit slow to arrive. My advice would be to book and order your food well in advanced if you are short on time.

I ordered the smoked trout with asparagus, poached egg and the egg yolk was cooked through out, meant that the food must of been sitting on the bench for a while.

Overall great menu with seasonal freshness and nice relaxing courtyard area.

Special mention to the wait staff who were always on the ball, quick to clear tables and excellent memory as they did not need a pen and paper to take our order.

Went for a late lunch snack about 3.30pm, as we missed the lunch menu, we were left with just the choices from the tapas and entrees (I think). The rice ball was delicious except for the coffee which was a bit too strong for my liking.

Overall nice relaxing atmosphere.

I love how the books in this bookstore reflects the indie/alternative culture that West End is known for. For such a tiny store, there are a great selection of books in any subject of interest.

Haven't tried the food in the cafe as I'm just there for the books. Relaxing atmosphere to browse at your own leisure. I really hope that these types of bookstore do not die out.
