We went there for a nice chinese meal, as a family. The last time we went there the meal, service was quite lovely, but this time we were quite dissappointed.

We have been a regular at Chois for some 15 years now but i'm sorry to say that something has gone wrong this year. The last 3 times we have visited / had take away the food has been disappointing. the fried items tasted as though the oil needed to be changed. Food was greasy and vegetables seemed to be a plate of broccoli. Several of our friends relate similar experiences of hit and miss food quality. for a restaurant charging top dollar, not good enough.

Last time we complained about the dreadful Cantonese beef having the texture of a shoe sole, the waiter just laughed and took the plate away! The manager said 'it may not be to your taste'! Well my friend, it has been to our taste for 15 years but it seems you no longer care. New owners I think??

Approximate cost: $24

Without a doubt the best suburban Chinese restaurant around. Food is delicious, service is fantastic. It is pricey but the quality of food & variety of dishes makes it worth the money. Highly recommended to dine in or for take away.

Peking Duck here is per piece instead of per duck. It comes ready rolled wit a generous slice of meat, which makes the crispy skin less obvious. Wasabi Prawns is prawns fried in a light batter with a wasabi mayonnaise, scrumptious.
