I’m also a client of Classy Homes. Classy Homes’s licence was cancelled on 16/11/2023. We had the same issues like Gerry H. and tailorg. Delays, no practical completion date, poor communication, advance payment demand.

As of 15/11/23, Classy Homes have had all their QBCC licences suspended since 20th of October 2023. They currently have over one hundred thousand dollars of our money demanded by them in advance for uncompleted work, and are not responding to our phone calls or emails. A supplier has refused to deliver the products we paid for to our site, due to debts owed to them by Classy Homes. 18 months after we signed our contract, our house has no roof, and Corey cannot confirm when he will complete our house.

Approximate cost: $925000

Firstly, This feedback is based upon my personal experience, facts, contextual truth and knowledge within the industry.

This was my worst and regrettable experience giving my house to this cowboy builder. Very unprofessional and non-serious builder who doesn't like to follow HIA contractual terms, timelines and QBCC guidelines of building houses.

Classy Homes is a small builder running a one man show. He does have a one staff who is a retiree handling paper work and often they both don't have a communication as the main builder is actually working on job sites.

As at the time, he was dealing with 15 jobs alone, he wasn't turn up for personally supervising and quality checking for my job. I had inspected the work and notified the issues with slabs and frames.

Moreover, this builder has serious cashflow issues and demands payments upfront which is again QBCC breach of licensing terms. Due to such issues, I had to terminate my contract with Classy Homes and claim QBCC home insurance warranty. You can check that via QBCC license search against this builder.

Also, I regret a lot of my decision not to take legal advice before signing the contract, before and after receiving building permit so that I could have cancelled the contract with this fraud builder.

Now my job is with more professional builder with good workmanship. I would recommend paying more to the good quality builder rather than saving money for cheap work.

Approximate cost: $470000
