Don't trust this business, I was provided a quote over the phone and booked my car in to have the work completed, to get the bill at the end of the job and it was DOUBLE the price!!! They didn't bother telling me that is was going to cost more he just went ahead and did the work and then refused to give me my car when I didn't agree on the final bill. They are a rip off and just expect me to pay, don't bother getting a quote, it's a waste of time! They also took way longer than I was told. Very bad service, they can't be trusted and I won't be back and I will tell everyone I know not to use them!!

I recently had car issues that weren't going away on their own sadly and took the advice of a friend who has been using Clays Auto Electrical repeatedly and happily for over 15 years.. that sounded good enough to me as I particularly hate having my car fixed/serviced as it ALWAYS takes longer than expected and I just can't afford this to happen with the nature of my job... I explained this to the friendly man who served me (turns out he was the owner) and he agreed that this is an annoyance Clays tries hard to avoid.. he provided me with an initial assessment and quote and was able to deliver the desired outcome...on time and for the initial quote price... an impressive effort given the large number of other jobs the boys appeared to have in the shop.. I was delighted by the honest appraisal re time and the teams willingness to work until the problem was solved for me that day....even though it merged beyond work hours a little. Nice guys, friendly place, accurate and knowledgeable advice... highly recommended.. use these guys!! RT

Have given this business several opportunities over a period of time, but sadly I have been more and more disappointed with each outcome. Most recently I heard they changed mechanics, and took a vehicle in ....only to be charged a fee to have them misdiagnose the problem, and quote the cost of repair as being several thousand dollars. A second opinion elsewhere showed the actual problem to be relatively minor, with the total cost being under $400.
