This places is absolutely phenomenal! They have the best of both worlds: strong coffee and great beans to take home (Pony is my favourite). Be wary of peak hours as the beards and lines can get a little overwhelming.

Edit: No longer sell croissants from Lune :( If I want croissants now I have to queue for an hour at Lune on weekend.

A very tiny cafe in South Melbourne but very busy and be prepared to queue. Went to visit this cafe because I wanted to try croissant from Lune Croissanterie. When I got there, the croissant was just delivered so it was fresh and delicious. Definitely the best one I found so far in Melbourne. Tasted similar to croissants I ate in France (but bigger). The croissant is beautiful and has a shine to it, smell of beautiful fragrant butter and not dry at all like others I've tried in Melbourne. Definitely will be back for more croissant. The coffee is very good as well, definitely one of the better ones in Melbourne. I have to admit though, I prefer the one from Cottle coffee nearby but everyone has different preference for coffee flavour.
