Never known anyone to complain about the food, its always fresh and hot, with a variety of Asian cuisine. Beautiful atmosphere, and child friendly. Only problem was that it is a bit pricey, especially if you order take away. Overall I would definitely recommend to go on special occasions.

Have been here several times and with our two year old. Found the staff very friendly and kid friendly.(brought him out a colouring book etc.) not a long wait for the food and all the food tasted great. Have good banquet specials and the decore and setting is very nice.

Over rated, it's not bad for a run of the mill mixed Chinese restaurant, still over priced for what it is, which is not real traditional Chinese food. Coco chine only caters for the western taste and not real Chinese foods as such. Do yourself a big favor and go visit some places in the city were real Chinese food is served at very cheap prices too. Then you can really say delicious!!!

I totally agree the place is not a authentic Chinese restaurant. If you've tried real Chinese food, you'll know CocoChine's standard is horrible.

I have to wonder about the dining experiences of those who give too big a rap for this restaurant. Perhaps people need to try places in the city or in the inner eastern suburbs before drawing their conclusions. Cocochine is without a doubt overpriced and hit-or-miss on the food. The decor and staff are great, but i was paying for the food too. It's high class for families that dont get out much.

Once we arrived, the person waiting on us at the time was really helpful, and knew many of the dishes they serve there and was able to advise me to meals that were not only good but also meals that i would not get shock from because it was too hot or way too spicy for me and my family. The Meals served there from the menu are much like a mixture of many other restraunts, only that they are more pricey for what you get.

The food here is always fantastic. Mongolian beef is a must taste. Great friendly staff. Beautiful view of the lake . It is a bit pricey for what you get but I will still go back because the food is that good.

Cocochine is typical "Aussie Chinese" food. I only had takeaway, not dine in, and the food was tasty and filling. It's a bit annoying not having close parking, and the waiting time was relatively high, but I would still go back there when the urge for fried rice hit me again.

Approximate cost: $13
