the business is massive and i prefer to support smaller businesses and the produce is not as fresh as i would expect. the delivery people for home delivery are very nice and helpful.

I love Coles!! This is probably my least favourite of all the Coles Supermarkets I've visited though!
Their fruit and Veg is usually great. Their meat is usually pretty good quality!
I do find the store can look unclean alot of the time.
The service isnt the best lately either!!

This is convenient for me to stop on my way home from work for whatever groceries I might be needing. They don't seem to have the usual problem of long queues which can really slow you up if you are just running in for one or two things.

I love coles. I love this coles. The staff can be annoying or rude, but you deal with it.
The self service is great.. except for the woman who wtaches me like a hawk.. incase I'm stealing, I guess!

i enjoy my shopping experience at coles, its where i always go for my food shopping needs, the savings and friendly staff make my shopping experince very pleasent and enjoyable.

When I suggest to put everything in one bag... don't tell me the bag will break or that it'll be too heavy, or ignore me and use two bags anyway. We are living in an environmentally conscious society and the service assistants need to be more conscious of this instead of thinking they are always right. If my bag break because I've asked for it to be over packed, then that I believe is my problem, but please don't undermine me and tell me you know better. The customer is always right, let us shop without being mocked and told otherwise.

had a good shopping experience up there and most of the time i used to go there for shopping.
staff is really friendly and respect their customer. sometime have the problem to find the product just bcs of out stock. but overall is good.

We've recently had a few issues with quality at Coles. On one occasion an expensive brie cheese was off and covered in mould. On another we bought one of the expensive rib-eye roasts only to find it had gone off in the cryovac packaging. (This was from the Wendouree Stocklands store).

Both times we've had a refund or the item replaced but it's not what you'd expect from a Coles. Bad food handling and storage methods were probably to blame. The fruit and veg has been questionable at times as well.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Cole's no matter where I have been. This Cole's in Ballarat is a very clean and reasonably efficient store. The thing that lets them down is some products are hard to find and when you do find them, they're in a really weird place, and if your down the back of the store in the fridge section dont bother asking for help, I have shopped there many of times and not once been able to find someone for advice or directions down there. I have had a great run in the way of about the last 5 cole's supermarkets I have been too they've had mature aged, respectable empoyee's, but this one is let down by its overwhelming number of 14 to 16yo kids who are just as smart as a wooden plank. Wake up Coles, employing underage kids is so 90's.

The store is big with a great range of goods. The are lots to choose from and the store is well laid out. Staff are always friendly. The store looks good with a bright and warm atmosphere.
