I visit Hobart twice a year…and I save all my alterations and repairs on my garments till I can get the work done at Collis .. I do this because they carefully explain the limitations of the repairs required but they always exced my expectations
This time ,I needed a pair of expensive designer jeans taken in , they explained that a little more than reducing the waist was required to achieve a better fit ..their expert opinion was correct and as a result, I’m extremely satisfied with the results
I trust them ,and them alone , to work on my garments… although I have approached some alteration specialists in Brisbane are hesitant to do the work required ….The ‘Girls’ at Collis are only too happy to except the challenge..and provide excellent results

I have used this service a number of times to get clothing dry cleaned and alterations done. I selected them as they are conveniently located in the city and they alter the clothes in a reasonable timeframe.

They can be more expensive than other alteration services, ie more expensive than in the suburbs, but I'm happy to pay for convenience.

They offer a same day service.
