This review is for Muffin Munchies Coffee Shop, Hobart TAS

This is one of the best kept secrets in Hobart. It's surprising to me that the queue for this place doesn't go out the door. It's tucked away in a small arcade so it's nice and quiet. There's plenty of little tables if you want to eat in, or they offer take away.
All the muffins are made fresh daily and are delicious. I know for a fact that the quality of product they buy is way better than many other places, eg they buy high quality fruit whereas some other places only buy cheap jam grade fruit.

Sirens serves only vegetarian food, so it's you are a vegetarian you're in for a treat. The decor is lovely and all the meals I've eaten there are tasty.
It isn't the cheapest option for lunch but it's a nice change from the other lunch places around the CBD.

This review is for Salamanca Bakehouse, Hobart TAS

This bakery is popular for 2 reasons. First it's open 24 hrs so it's really popular as a late night snack and gets a lot of people from the Salamanca bars. The other reason is it's award winning pies.
Personally I love their ham or salami foccacias. The bread is so fresh and fillings are delicious.
There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, and they have a few good highchairs available.

Great Turkish restaurant in the North Hobart restaurant strip. As you'd expect, the turkish dips are fantastic. I'd be happy just to each the dips and bread :)

The food at this restaurant is great and at night it turns into a very busy watering hole.
They have a weekend breakfast special which is $8 or $10 dollars until about midday, so it's a popular place to recover from the night before.

I went here with a large group for a birthday function and there wasn't a long delay with the food that you might expect at some restaurants when you go with a large group.
The food did seem to lack some flavour but it was pleasant enough.

This review is for Stork Baby, Sandy Bay TAS

Don't be put off by the fact it's a boutique baby store in Sandy Bay. They have a great range of baby products that are comparably priced with other stores.
I bought a lovely pair of shoes and pants for my baby's Christening and the outfit worked out to be cheaper than buying at some other baby stores.
Stork also has maternity wear available.

This review is for The Fish Bar, Sandy Bay TAS

Great range of fresh quality fish and seafood. Although you can get a lot of things fried they don't taste too oily or greasy and don't detract from the flavour of the fish.
All their meal options are great value.

This review is for Point Revolving Restaurant, Wrest Point Hotel, Sandy Bay TAS

This is a great place to take interstate visitors as you get a wonderful view of Hobart (revolving of course).
It is a fine dining restaurant so the service and food is 5 star - as are the prices. Some food, such as steaks, you can get just as nice but cheaper at other establishments. However you are paying for the view and the fantastic service.

I've used this practice a lot both in their old premises at Battery Point and their new premises in Sandy Bay. As someone else has said - the parking is so much easier now as there's lot of parking in Woolworths.
I had to get some tests done during the 'swine flu pandemic' and staff were so considerate. They had good procedures in place to make sure no germs were spread to waiting patients.
