When was your business founded?

Concussion Central was founded in 2019 to provide specialised assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for people experiencing concussion and related symptoms. Since then, the clinic has supported adults and children across Victoria with individualised concussion care and rehabilitation.

What is your level of experience in this line of work?

Our experienced team provides specialised concussion assessment and treatment for adults and children. We support patients with concussion, mild traumatic brain injury, dizziness, headaches and ongoing symptoms, using evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation approaches to help patients return to everyday activities, work, study and sport.

What certifications, qualifications or awards has your business received?

Concussion Central is staffed by qualified physiotherapists with extensive experience in concussion, brain injury and vestibular rehabilitation. Our clinicians hold recognised physiotherapy qualifications and Australian Physiotherapy Association membership, with additional postgraduate training in concussion, vestibular rehabilitation and related areas. Team members have also completed specialised courses, including Susan Herdman Advanced Vestibular training, Complete Concussion Management and Watson Headache Institute training.

Are you a member of any professional / industry associations?

Yes. Our clinicians are members of relevant professional associations, including the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). Our team maintains professional development and ongoing training in areas including concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation and headache treatment.
