It was my first visit to this bakery after we had been to the Collingwood Childrens Farm nearby.
We attended on a weekend day which was filled with patrons sitting inside and out of the bakery.
Truly a lovely selection of pastries and light lunches to choose from.
Waiting time to be served was a bit long which was understandable as it was a busy day, but the staff were polite.

Prices are quite reasonable, particularly when you take into consideration the size and quality of what you get. Even after having not gone there for years, the quality of their products is still number 1. Soooooo yummy. The kind of bakery that could make you very fat if you had the chance to go nuts, but would be worth every calorie. lol Very cute bakery and can eat in or outside and serve a variety of meals and drinks for breakfast and lunch. So can't wait to go back for more goodies. :)
Yes they're great, I work in the area, only problem is the food takes a while to be served so if you're in a hurry not so good. Good food though

Good place to pick up fresh bread and very reasonably priced Fair Trade coffee beans and lovely location, but lacks personal touch of passionate business owner. Often lots of staff milling around not looking like they know what to do. Fair range of acceptable cakes and sandwiches, but missed opportunity, given great location.
Nice on Friday evening to grab pizza and a drink from Boiler Bar next door
Cute little bakery in Abbotsford convent so you can wander around and then sit down and have some treats. Theres sweets and savouries to choose from and some outdoor and indoor seating. Worth a visit.
Delicious pastries and breads available to have with your drink. It can sometimes be quite difficult to get a seat, especially on market days.
I enjoy visiting the Convent Bakery for a coffee and to pick up some bread. You can call them and order things to be put aside for you. Lovely venue, especially in the summer.
This bakery has really yummy wood fired breads. They use organic coffee and the have a great selection of lunch food as well as sweet treats. Set in a beautiful surrounding, this is a place to visit!!
This bakery is excellent. I go almost every weekend to buy bread and perhaps a pastry of two. The homemade sausage rolls are big and tasty. Doubles up as a bar on sunny weekends serving beers through the little bar window. Great coffee too. Sit outside in the sun or at the tables under the trees, or inside by the wood fired pizza oven on a colder day. Can be busy on weekends and is usually a few families with kids enjoying the convents grounds and the Collingwood children's farm.
Overall a great spot with a whole range of breads, pastries, and pizzas with a variety of beverage options.
This place has mainly an outdoor seating area and has a limited menu. The bakery items are quite good but there its mainly pies and muffins. You can use an entertainment book voucher here and save.
Great location, next to Collingwood Children's Farm. Relaxing and rustic setting. However, they don't have a huge range of food - mainly sandwiches and pies and some yummy pizzas. And lots of biscuits and cakes. Good to eat and then wander down to the farm for a look see at the animals. Also lots of markets held there on regular basis.
Approximate cost: $15
