I recently had the pleasure of using Coolibah Plumbing for a plumbing issue in my home, and I must say that their service was exceptional. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way.

We unfortunately accidentally drilled a hole through one of our pipes after 5pm. We called them and they quote us a call out fee which we agreed to. We explained to them the situation and said to them that we know all they has to do is cut out a peice of pipe and replace a small section of our existing pipe to fix the problem. Our Coolibah staff said is it not that simple and will require much more complex works than that and it would cost us $900 total to fix the problem. We agreed to the price as we needed it fixed. Then once all papers are signed the staff proceeded to do exactly what we said they would need to do - cut out a peice of pipe to replace the existing damaged pipe. When finished they asked for the $900. When we confronted them that we felt cheated and lied to because the work they did was not as complex as they said initially and that was the basis for charging us at such a high rate was false. Their reply was that they had to use a $5000 machine to complete the work, therefore they had to charge us at this rate regardless. Having signed the papers and the works are done we had no choice but to pay the staff. We called the company seeking a management the next day to talk about this but the staff who answered the phone would hear none of it. They said regardless of the equipment used, our staff had a list of prices to work off. But then they charged us for doing a "more complicated" works, but actually only did something quite simple in the end. The staff on the phone go on to say that the high price was due to it being after hour and everything we were charged would have been doubling what normal prices are (we were not told, of course). Call out fee of @ $260 and $700 to replace a small cut out section of pipe which was done quite quickly. Total bill of $900. Will not be a returning customer. We don't recommend anyone using their services despite their professional looking website.
