Dinner here was very good but the service was a bit to be desired. The waitress was a bit pushy and came 3 times to take our order. The bar staff got the drink order wrong which was a bit hard to believe considering all that we ordered was a glass of champagne and a glass of orange juice.

My wife and I love going to this restaurant. We find the staff ever so friendly and attentive and the meals very good quality. I have had a beautifully cooked shiraz steak numerous times and my wife loves the barramundi. The restaurant has been renovated and feels very comfortable and a nice place for a romantic dinner.

This place has the potential to be a good restaurant, it is just lacking one key ingredient (mind the pun). The atmosphere is sophisticated and warm and the wait-staff attentive enough, but sadly the food just doesn't live up to the price or even to the standard of the area. I have been here 3 times with various friends and despite selecting different dishes I have discovered a general theme of under-flavoured (unless you call very salty a flavour) dishes with pasta lacking some love starchy Gnocchi or undercooked pasta .

Nice venue. I Tried several dishes and liked most of them. Stuffed calamari was disappointing, but I loved all other dishes. Specially try chicken filled mushroom(from tapas menu).
The staff were not very friendly and made so much noise by moving tables and chairs for customer.

It is a shame to see such a low caliber restaurant amidst the beautiful vibrant atmosphere of lygon street. The food was really awful and average, not what you would expect in this location.

Nice venue, friendly staff. Pizza was very good ... everything else was average, including value for money ...

Average italian restaurant.
The surroundings are like the average italian trattoria.
The staff are friendly.
The menu has everything that your ordinary italian place on lygon st would have. Nothing particularly special, but plenty of variety.
Prices are alright, and reflect the price.
One of the things that puts this place above some lygon st restaurants is that it is dependable, and does not skimp on quality of ingredients.

Approximate cost: $26

The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and the waitress was friendly, but it took ages before our meals arrived. And the food was so salty. I could hardly eat it.
It was very disappointing for an inviting looking restaurant on Lygon St.
