Jennifer and her wonderful team made my wedding cupcakes. I sat down with Jennifer for about 30 minutes and she knew exactly what i wanted. They are the Yummiest Cakes in the world and i go back again and again.

Didn't actually go to the bakery, but got the cupcakes from a cafe in the city. They were a bit pricey at $4.00 each but very prettily iced. Was nice and moist, but nothing exceptional, although the Hummingbird was probably the highlight of the cupcakes we bought. Kids would love it for the pretty icing and novelty factor.

The Crabapple Cupcake Bakery was not what we were expecting. Weird little store type thing in Prahran Market. Gift stock, like cake platters and tea sets, were expensive. No prices available on the food and very few cupcakes on display. I have the Crabapple Cupcake recipe book which is full of excellent cupcake creations over lots of glossy pages. The bakery was absolutely nothing alike. A bit of a let down really - we were expecting something special!

We made a special trip to Prahran Market just to try Crabapple's famous cupcakes. The store is very cute, and the cupcakes look great, but ultimately we were a little disappointed. The cupcakes were fine, but didn't taste as great as we'd hoped, and the store only sells tea, not coffee.
