About 45min drive south-west of Hobart, it is ideal for a relaxing holiday! We stayed in Tassie for a week, and just used this as our base. It's close enough to Hobart and the south for day trips, even when you don't leave the cottage until 11:30am! It was late winter, so we enjoyed learning to using the fire; it was amazing how warm the cottage stayed all day and night! Breakfast provisions were plentiful, hosts very helpful, and the ducks outside very friendly. And the cottage itself - beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The loveliest place we stayed at on our Tassie honeymoon! We loved staying in the self-contained crabtree river house section (though the cottages look amazing too). The place has beautiful decor and wonderful fresh provisions for breakfast. The owners Gary and Anna are friendly and helpful and made it a great stay. It's a beautiful place and we still rave about it to all our friends - if you're going to Tassie you must stay there!
