Had moved with Crichtons before, this time was a longer move so the quoted amount was much higher, but thought I’d go with them given they were good the first time, wanted the money upfront, then proceeded to damage my stuff and not put boxes in the rooms where they were labeled to go, and then put a hole in a wall, owner of the business doesn’t seem to want to accept responsibility, not sure who fell asleep at the wheel and put this bloke in charge, there’s only one direction this business is going and it’s not up.

Removalist themselves were great. Hard working, timely and professional. The owner acted extremely unprofessional. Make a claim for damage and you will receive sarcasm, avoidance and outlandish claims. Has displayed sly and deceptive behaviour. Not to be trusted. Would NOT recommend!

Dishonest removalists. Truck arrived with other peoples property in it so my own barely fitted. Once unloaded discovered that most of my dining table had been damaged and a large ottoman now had a big hole in it. Removalists were extremely rough unpacking and showed no respect for mu belongings. Brett would not answer my calls or respond to messages after the move so looks like the matter will need to go to VCAL. I would not recommend using this Company.

I’ve used Crichton twice. First time was great. Second time I was charged for the time it took to fuel their vehicle, their 2 staff taking 5 smoke breaks and watching videos on their phones and the 7km depot to house commute was recorded as 45 minutes. After requesting a review of the time charged and admitting the amount of smoke breaks is unacceptable the company refuses to respond to my email or refund any money. Do not use them if you want an efficient removalist.

Having a small business in Brisbane selling Moving Boxes and Packing Items. I came across Crichton Removals. I have had two customers of late move from Brisbane to Melbourne and I give them the contact details for Crichton. They offer a professional service. Not only did they save one of my customers $100.00 on the quote to move her items. They also gave her a discount on top of the quote. Which saved her more money. Its great for me to know I have found a great removal company to refer my customers to in the future. As I know they will be looked after.
