Popped in for a pre-theatre meal. Really enjoyed our meal. The lam yiros, wasn't yiros, but was delicious chunks of marinated lamb. The schnitzel was def above average and the service was great.

This is pub food at restaurant prices. The service is average and the food would not make you come back for more.

We had our work Xmas lunch here and the majority of people werent pleased with the food, especially the vegetarian dishes. Very small serves, limited taste and incredibly slow. Lovely setting though.

The Crown and Sceptre's staff are attentive but not terribly polite. The cocktails are excellent but take too long to make. Excellent venue though with great music. Always a good time.

This is a great pub with a difference. It has a nice layout that makes it a bit more interesting than most and the menu is a little different too. Food is always well prepared and tasty and the staff are always friendly. We have been to a couple of private functions here as well and they were well catered for. :)

Great bar. Love their 2 for 1 cocktail nights. The service is good - bar tenders are friendly. The bar gets very busy though and can be cramped but still a good atmosphere and a very interesting decor. The food in the restaurant is so-so. I have eaten there are few times now and generally everyone has said it was OK but not great and a little too expensive for what it is. So, eat somewhere else, but drink here.

Approximate cost: $25

Very nice decor in this re-furbished Pub in Adelaide! The food was really really nice. A touch fancier than the usual Pub fare, but they also have the usual schnitzels and burgers you'll find in all pubs.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Great bar on King William Street - really good cocktails! (Also offer quite a few half price cocktail nights each week). Seating outside on the street, or in the neat beer garden out back. The front bar is cramped but has a great atmosphere, and theres another seating room where the bands play - complete with a fire place! There's also some old school arcade machines out back.
