The worst every Heating & AC company, especially the sub contractors they use. No care or responsibility

What a Joke! This mob installed a air con at our townhouse last month. I do not recommend that anyone use them. They were quick to take our money and then ignored us from then on by not returning phone calls or emails, we were told that the installation could be done within two weeks but this did not happen. No-one that we dealt with was helpful and we were not happy with the installation. I was provided with the worst customer service I've ever had. What a Joke! Having decided for health reasons we really did need an air conditioning system, we thought that if we were going to do this, we'd do it right. You can get a unit from chain stores for between $1000 and $2000 and then pay for installation and often they don't work as well as expected or be very efficient (good friend found this out). So after looking around we went to Crown in Ascot Vale. They are a reputable company and sell and install only the very best.

We got a Daikin unit, 2hp which is reverse cycle for our main living area and also another smaller unit for bedroom use. When in the showroom, I couldn't quite believe the unit was actually running as it was so quiet and now it's in the wall, the same thing ... you hardly even notice the small background hum at all, unlike some noisy compressors.

It looks good, is simple to use with a remote and works to perfection, keeping the room at a beautiful moderate temperature. We are glad we went with Crown who advised us on the whole process and had their installer on time exactly when he told us.

The work was carried out quickly and neatly. The one problem we had with them, which is why I gave service a lower mark is I think they need to employ more electricians and give them more time for each job. We tried three times to have their contracted electrician wire up the units and complete the installation, but each time he was either called away, couldn't come because he'd been double booked or had only been allocated an incredibly short time for each install and had fallen behind. If they fixed this part up, then I think they'd be getting a perfect score from me.

This company also handles solar, gas hot water and many other branches of service, using only the best brands.

Their showroom is large and attractive but the sales people were not pushy at all. We were able to get some brochures and go away with information to think about and compare before making a decision.

Very happy with the units, the health of my family and the surprisingly low amount of extra power it costs to run them.

Approximate cost: $Under $5000 for two.
