The bar meals here are fantastic - really well priced (~$17 for a parmi) and quite large sizes. The beef burger was absolutely amazing too. They do some specials at lunch time too (like pot and parmi for a certain price).

The staff are also friendly, and the interior is comfortable and modern.

If you're driving through Buninyong and need a bite to eat, I definitely recommend!

My husband and I had a Saturday night dinner at this pub whilst away for the weekend in the area.

We had great meals, chicken parma and steak (our favourite pub meals hehehehe) and were so impressed with the servings, as they very filling and were glad we did not order an entree!

I have never had a good meal here.The only reason I have been several times is the closeness to where I live, each time I think I'll try something else,surely they can do a good mix grill or a good burger. Unfortunately this is not the case.I can understand that on occasions the chef is having a bad day or that cooking a salmon steak is tricky but when it happens time again and the chef can't cook a burger then I dont think its worth going back. I paid $21 for a burger and chips,the chips were coated in that disgusting chicken salt and the mixed grill my partner had was pretty woeful,there was something on the plate that represented the sole of an old shoe,That cost about $26.My son had a bolognese which was pretty tasteless. I asked for some bread while we waited and was served a single piece of stale end of the loaf bread.When the waitress collected our plates she did ask how everything was but didn't listen to our answer as she just smiled and took away our plates with alot of leftovers on it.If the prices wern't so out of control I would just put up with it but for that money I wont be going back....or can they do a good parma??The hotel and dining room itself is pleasant and warm in winter and it would be great if the meals were good because Bunningyong is a nice little town and would benefit from a good hotel to eat at.
