Crumb Street Kitchen

I've been to Crumb Street before, but tonight we tried their delivery service! Dinner for 2 included 3 x meat, 2 x sides, 2 x sauce and bread for $35, not bad! I called to order, and the food arrived quicker than estimated, around 20 minutes. Fantastic! As always it was delicious, and between two we couldn't quite get through it all (planning a great sandwich for tomorrow!) The only negatives were that we didn't get any bread, and the delivery fee ended up being $10 rather than the $5 stated on the menu. We'll definitely order again!!

Amazingly tasty meaty dishes, once you figure the menu out! The menu is a bit baffling for the uninitiate, but its a pretty safe bet that if you like red meat, you'll like what turns up. The flat breads and "buns" are a real highlight.

One of the best in Tassie. Pulled pork and their 24 hour brisket is to die for. Potato salad is plain but beautifully flavoured and very delicate. Sometimes if you are lucky there will be lamb in the menu which I can't go past. All the bread is handmade there but the owner who is a trained baker. Don't expect much in terms of decor or waited service but that is part of the charm. They sell out every night by at least 8 so get in quick for dinner! Amazing sauces that are free too the dr pepper is my favourite.

I have to give crumb street five stars because the food is incredible, the service is fantastic and it's great to see innovative new businesses doing well in Hobart. I had the pulled pork bun and it was one of the best lunches I've ever had!
