Best Indian in Australia. Service is more of a miss, children running around or in the arms of the waiter, but who cares when the curry is this amazing. Their cheese and garlic naan is to die for. Butter chicken is rich and spicy and I love the vegetarian korma. Thali plate is my favourite with 3 curries, rice, naan and entree at 20, you can't go wrong. BYO too.

Lovely little cafe in North Hobart. Had fritters with haloumi, lovely but overly salty even for the type of cheese. Warm coffee but nice. Cafe seemed a little dirty.

Lovely coffee but hit and miss some days. Way too cramped in the morning because people stand in the tiny shop once they have ordered for some reason, awkward. Coffee can take up to 15 minutes in the morning so not worth the wait so much anymore.

Amazing inner city lunch and now dinner haunt. The gnocchi there is to die for as well as their ravioli all hand made. Calzones and pizzas are absolutely amazing. A bit more on the pricier side for a lunch but worth the wait and the money. Had chicken risotto last time and was not disappointed. Great wine and beer list too.

One of the best in Tassie. Pulled pork and their 24 hour brisket is to die for. Potato salad is plain but beautifully flavoured and very delicate. Sometimes if you are lucky there will be lamb in the menu which I can't go past. All the bread is handmade there but the owner who is a trained baker. Don't expect much in terms of decor or waited service but that is part of the charm. They sell out every night by at least 8 so get in quick for dinner! Amazing sauces that are free too the dr pepper is my favourite.

Terrible dining. Microwaved food shipped in containers! Coffee is lovely but that only goes so far. No table service and my order arrived wrong. Cold and dirty atmosphere. Extremely overpriced! Shop and buy local not at a franchise! Will cost you less too.

Overpriced and no service. There is no table service here which annoys me to no end, just a way to cut costs I guess. No bananas for any smoothies. The nachos where $15, warm and soggy! Dry Turkish breads and in fillings. Unfortunately for them this could be a booming business but not with the currently quality of food.

Great atmosphere. Limited seating downstairs some available upstairs though. Loyal following of string coffee drinkers. Large coffees strong and hot! Ever changing breakfast and lunch menu. Service can be a but off sometimes. Always a favourite though, amazing waffles!

Gorgeous new interior to what was a tired old shack. Fresh, tasty and interesting food available. Small menu but fantastically pulled off. The Duchess breakfast is tasty with all the trimmings. So reasonably priced.

Raincheck for me is always a bit hit and miss unfortunately. When they're busy in the kitchen expect an hour wait for food. Menu is tired and hasn't changed in years. Best breaky however is their eggs benedict. Beautiful! Great interior though not many seats you need to book ahead.
