I got my grand-daughter's haircut on Sunday and she is 3. We waited until the female hairdresser was available (as Miss 3 year old didn't want a man hairdresser) The service was good, haircut was good and she got a lollipop afterwards

I agree with the first review. It wasn't my worst hairdressing experience but it wasn't good either. I went just before Christmas 2011. I don't have a problem with the price as I have short hair and was charged $19.95. The hairdresser was very unfriendly and did a lousy cut. I found another hairdresser for my next and she said that there was no shape in my cut. You get what you pay for and they don't do a decent job. I don't recommend them at all.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Worst haircut and salon experience ever! They washed my hair with freezing cold water despite repeated request to make it warmer. Terrible haircut - much longer on one side than the other, really bad layers and hacked my fringe off - did not do what I asked at all. Then charged me $70 for a wash, cut and blow wave. I was so upset and disappointed. I queried the price (it said from $19.95 for style cut in the window, so I was expecting about $50 with wash and blow-wave). I had to ask another hairdresser at the salon to fix the cut and make the length even. They did not offer a refund and admitted that the price in their window was misleading. I will never go back there or recommend the salon to anyone. Visit at your own risk!

Fantastic experience every time! I see Johnny each time I go and he is fantastic! They charge a lot less than any other hairdresser I have ever been to or heard of, and they actually care about their clients (in my experience). I first went there with a major problem with my hair and Johnny figured out a way to fix it over time and make it look good while it repairs over time too! Also, I bought some hair products (shampoo, conditioner, treatment) from another store, and when I told Johnny, he mentioned to me that those were not the right products for my hair (considering he knows my hair more than anyone since he deals with it regularly) and he spent a lot of time explaining with real honesty about truth of many products out there. He suggested I try another line in the same brand I had bought and he suggested I just go over to the same store and exchange it over for the right pack for me, and not once did he try to push me to buy from their own range. I always feel like he actually cares about me as his client and wants me to look my best and get the best value for my money. It's so hard to find a good hairdresser, it took me ages, but now that I have I am so relieved as my hair means a lot to me (as I'm sure it does to most women). I recommend him to anyone as he will work with you to understand what you want and to achieve it.

Approximate cost: $40 (haircut)
