Have dined here several times & leave thinking I've just eaten in Italy. The pizzas are authentic, fresh, delicious & healthy. They are made on a thin crust wood fired base therefore non oily or soggy. All made to order & take away available. The cafe itself is comfortable not overly roomy but they offer outdoor seating. The service overall was nothing to rave about but love how it is traditional! The pizzas are priced well & value for money. It is very popular late nights and weekends so I would suggest getting in early or dining early week to avoid disappointment. Overall a laid back dining experience with good clean food.

Taste wise - hands down best pizza in Melbourne. Although the guys go light on the topping their pizzas are so fresh and absolutely delicious. The margarita is oh so amazing! I would also recommend the wild mushroom pizza - it always packs a punch of flavours. Pizzas are quite expensive compared to other places however if you are looking to indulge then this is the place for you. It is generally very busy and they dont take reservations so if you are in a hurry then forget about it, unless you are willing to compromise with the take away option. Customer service is ok, I guess very typical italian. Sometimes you have to wait for a while for someone to take your order. The place is great on a warm weekend day when you can sit outside and enjoy the sun.

The best pizza in Melbourne! What makes these pizzas so good is that they are made with just the perfect amount of top quality ingredients, so, so flavoursome and fresh. We had the San Daniele with Italian buffalo mozarella and prosciutto and the Cornuto with peppers and cacciatore salami. The tomato base was fresh and bursting with flavour. The pizza dough was thin and crisp. The service was excellent - food came out very quickly, the order was correct and staff ensured we were happy with everything, they are casual and laid back - not pretentious at all and none of that over the top, fake customer service. At roughly $20 per pizza, the prices are very reasonable and typical of what you pay for a decent pizza in Melbourne.

Approximate cost: $20
