I’m so glad we tried Da Angelo’s tonight. We came from Sydney looking for an Italian meal. This was the best I’ve ever had! It was that good. If you’re in Hobart, you’d be mad to give this place an overlook.

If you would like to enjoy a meal here, you really need to book ahead as it is so popular and we tried a few times.

A work colleague and I tried this restaurant and felt it was some of the best italian cuisine I had ever tasted. Our pasta entrees were so full of flavour and have to say the same about the pizza. No complaintsd here, everything was perfect from the moment we walked in the door to leaving.

Just got home from Ristorante Da Angelo and had to jump on here to tell you all how AMAZING this place was! Very busy so bookings essential!

Vibe is amazing, a little noisy but it's nice and not overpowering. Venue itself is quite smallish and some of the tables downstairs are quite close but you don't notice once your seated and eating.

The service receives 5 stars - all of the waitresses were extremely friendly and joked with you and you cant help but be in good spirits with the nice service.

Entree came very quickly and we had a chopped up pizza bread thing, had tomato and cheese and herbs and something else but ughhhhh it was soooooo good!!!

I had this chicken meal with a sauce of semi sundried tomatoes, melted brie, chives, cream sauce and ordered it without the peppercorns and ohhh wow it was SOOO good! Apparently the spaghetti was average though, but who wants to order plain spaghetti when you go out lol! I tasted the chicken parma and the sauce they used was really nice too.

Their dessert of the affogato with coffee ad liquer shot was soooooo good too, so much fun here, please please make an effort to go to this restuarant guys, great great experience!!

This restaurant is still at the top of the tree after many years. The food is always top notch, consistently wonderful and with a great, affordable selection. The service is great too.

My partner and I went here for our anniversary dinner and loved it! He had the Alla Panna and I had the Ravioli di Zucca. Both were delicious!

Service was great but the restaurant was quite noisy and tables are quite close to each other.

Finally tried this place out after hearing friends and workmates talking it up a fair bit. Let me just say it lives up to the hype.

I was served the best Spaghetti Carbonara I think I have ever eaten, and if it isn't it's a very close second. The ambiance is a little noisy, and if you're dining in I'd suggest booking an upstairs table if possible.

The service was was excellent and the food arrived significantly quicker than expected.

I'm just itching for an excuse to go back for another visit.

Da Angelo's is our choice for Italian food in Hobart whenever we have mainland guests. It was also our local pizza place even when we lived on the eastern shore! It's much improved since they renovated recently and there's a quiet area upstairs now too. Like a really good seafood risotto? Then try theirs!

Nice little Italian restaurant in Battery Point which does pizza and pasta. The food is quite tasty.
I've been there with both small groups and larger groups. The service can at times be slow, but I guess a lot of restaurants can have their slow nights.

great pizza. service is pretty good although it can be slow at times. great to hang out with friends and share a few different types of pizza. would recommend booking in advance coz it can be busy

very well know hobart pizza place for good reason. haven't been for a while but last time i went i was delicious. nice atmosphere. can cater for groups well.
