This Hotel has great traditional pub meals - large servings at a great price. Be warned, they can be large servings depending on what you order.
It's very family friendly, with a kids menu, and toys to entertain the kids.
There is a playground outside and plenty of parking.
The open fire keeps the hotel warm even on the coldest of winter nights.

Great Italian food tucked away in the Hellenic Club at Woden. If you're not a member, and not a guest of a member, you do have to pay $2 to get into the club, but the restaurant is worth it.
It's very casual, good food in decent sized services, prompt friendly service and well priced (about $20 for a pasta dish).

This property has been newly furnished so is in great new condition, with much higher quality furniture, bedding and appliances than you would normally get at a holiday rental.
It's close to everything you want to do in Primrose Sands - go to the beach, shop, playground, boat ramp etc.
We have stayed here a few times and will definitely stay again.
It's very well priced, especially for the area, and is very close to Hobart so it's great for a weekend getaway.

We have used Bob Jane multiple times over the last 5 years to buy new tyres and fix punctures etc.
The staff are always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful which is why we keep going back.
I've read so many great reviews about this place on WOMOW so I had to try it for myself. I agree - this place is amazing!
The size of the pastries and sweets are enough for a family to share!
There's a good range of savoury items for lunch, although i did find there was usually one ingredient in most of the savoury items that I didn't want to eat (I'm picky). Nothing was simple and plain about the savoury items - which is great for the majority of people.
On the down side is the service. The wait staff are incredibly slow if you want service after you are seated at your table. In short, either don't bother asking, or ask 3 times.
The other down side is it's quite busy and can be quite loud, so it's not the best place to go if you want a lot of conversation.
I will definitely be visiting again. Thanks everyone who recommended this cafe!
Approximate cost: $12
Breadd is definitely a hidden gem in the city. It's easy to pass by without noticing it, as it's only a small shop front.
The turkish pides they make and flat bread are so soft, fresh and delicious, and go well with their range of home made dips.
The flat bread is great to use a pizza base. If you want the flat bread you have to buy it early as they sell out fast.
They also make delicious fresh rolls at lunchtimes.

The MyFun website offers a range of tickets to attractions across Australia.
My experience with the website was that the information was not accurate/up to date, and it was often cheaper to buy tickets directly from the venue or on the venue's website.
You also have to pay a transaction fee through My Fun which you wouldn't if you bought at other places.
I did note that they recently had a 4 for the price of 1 on Gold Coast theme park tickets, although I'm not sure that's the cheapest way to buy them as there are other great deals available on other websites.
I wouldn't go out of my way to buy through them again.
Hard Rock Climbing is situated on level 2, on the corner of Swanton and Franklin streets. It's easy to miss the entry, but it's just a few doors up from Aldi.
We went on a Sunday morning and it was very busy, but there was still plenty of room to climb.
The price included group instructions for beginners.
Allow a good 2 hours including instructions and climbing.
Great for families as there's plenty of easy walls for young kids to climb.
It's a lot cheaper than I thought it would be, at around $18 for adults.

Elements café is situated on the Mezzanine level of the ANZ Building, at the end of Collins St in Docklands.
There is plenty of seating inside and out. There is a huge selection of hot dishes from the baine maree, fresh sandwiches and rolls, as well as salads. The serves are quite generous and cost around $11.
You need to order at the counter, but the staff are fairly quick to deliver your order to your table.
You can help yourself to free chilled water from the filtered tap.
The only negative is that it can get quite noisy when it's busy.
Approximate cost: $11
This café is located at the Docklands end of Collins St (near the ANZ building), and offers plenty of seating inside and outside.
The best part about this café for me is their huge range of soups. They have 12 soups to choose from each day, as well as salads, sandwiches etc.
They offer a $10 lunch deal with a small soup and small salad, which are normally $6.90 each.
The service is quick. The soups are delicious and filling.
This place is a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of the Docklands corporate district.
