Been here a couple of times, including my own birthday party once :) The food is great and staff welcoming and friendly. A great place for a group of friends.

not a bad place, but the taste is a little bit generic, so if you are hungry, this is a good place to refuel~ but not if you wanna find something surprise you.

Approximate cost: $22

I have been dined in here once.. but i am not sure if i would go back again..

Well the food is tasty to be honest but the thing is after i had the food .. i am sure after i had their food..i was having stomach problem the following day ...

The service was terrible .. staff were inattentive ..

Also, their food is quite expensive for the Chinese hot pot (small portions).

It's a chilly lover's heaven, everything here is super spicy. The spicy fish is extremely spicy and numbed my whole mouth. I had to down 2 bottles of soya milk to sooth my burning lips. Luckyly we ordered some non spicy cold dishes to counter the heat. My favorite item here was the deep fried eggplant.

Danty Sichuan certainly was an experience! We arrived just before 6pm - rush hour for dinner! - and so had some quiet time before the crowds started to arrive. Never having experienced traditional Szechuan before, all I knew is that the food would be HOT. Perusing the menu, I discovered dishes that I was too timid to try, but eventually decided on the Kong Pao Chicken. As a person with fructose malabsorption, I had to ask for it with no onions and to check which flour (if any) was used. The staff were friendly and more than willing to help - after a sligh language barrier issue, my boyfriend (who is wheat intollerant) and I learned that no, there was no wheat flour used in their dishes; just maize flour. We were more than happy with that, and placed our orders, sans onions.

When the dishes came, they were gigantic! We shouldn't have ordered one dish each, just one between two - but we'll know for next time.

The taste, however, was just divine! Yes, it was hot, but the Kong Pao Chicken was hot, sweet, peanutty and delicious.

We can now see why Anthony Bourdain recommended this place whilst he was in Melbourne.

Excellent quality, value and great service!

Approximate cost: $20.00

There is nothing outstanding about this restaurant except that if you want to get a good hit of chilli this is your place. We often go for work lunches and order a 3 chilli dish - that makes for an intereting afternoon at work. Be warned the 3 chilli chicken dish is not for the tame at heart!
