Popped in for lunch, had a bit of a wait even though there was only 2 other people there. The staff were lovely , friendly and chatty. I had the soup which was to die for and the bread was grainy and delicious. House wine was a great price and very nice

Approximate cost: $18.00

The coffee is huge and delicious and the Goat's Cheese Omlette - my goodness, if I could marry it, I would. Fresh, tasty and melts in your mouth - It is a must! Service is great. Best to try and get in at 9am on a Sat and Sun as it gets a little bit crazy anytime after that! Or those without kids (since we are up at the crack of dawn) could always book ahead!!

What I can't believe with this place being so good, Dank Street becoming the in place to be seen that no one has reviewed it since 2009.
Founded on the principles of the Slow Food movement,Quoting here from their menu, Danks Street Depot, vibrant café and bar, continues to showcase sustainable and ethical principles; championing local producers, seasonal produce and low food miles where possible. OK you have me there the food is fantastic but low food miles?? Whatever, it's worth the extra to just sit relax and enjoy the uncomplicated, delicious food.
Great food, good service, fresh tasting everything, these are all the ingredients that make Danks Street Depot worth visiting.

Approximate cost: $8.00 to $24.00

fantastic spot for weekend brekkie. terrific eggs and pancakes .. the food quality is superior and the service is pretty good but often very busy. prices are quite steep but i don't mind as the decor and food is top end

This place is quite expensive, but you can tell that they use good ingredients and they know how to work with them. There are not many tables in the restaurant so need to be prepared to wait on weekends. Their bread and butter is very nice~!

This place can be a bit pricey but boy is it worth it.... Seriously THE BEST POACHED EGGS IN THE WHOLE WORLD! Everything here is tasty no matter how simple. High turn over of tables so no worries if they are full when you get there. Coffee can be a little slow.
