Darebin Weight Loss Surgery (Dr Ahmad Aly)

Mr Aly is a wonderful surgeon - very caring and highly skilled.
Unfortunately, I fell through the crack and feel very let down by the team at DWLS when I needed most help. I required orthopaedic surgery a short while after having my Barriatic surgery which resulted me gained some weight back.
Even although I reached out to the clinic several times I was made to feel that I was no longer any interest.
All communication and follow-ups from DWLS had ceased for many, many years now.
After once again having three more surgeries in recent years I’ve been battling to lose/keep the weight off without support. Because of this I decided to find an alternative weight loss surgeon.

I have some major GI surgery coming up in July and I needed a surgeon who was not only experienced but also approachable and understanding. Mr Aly was recommended to me by a colleague and I now travel from one side of Melbourne to the other to see him. His reputation is impeccable and his way of dealing with patients is faultless. No question is stupid and he is happy to go over things until you understand them. His support staff are amazing too and I would recommend this surgeon in a heartbeat.
